The first thing is to know the king of Genre you will be producing.
Telling you about one music production software wouldn’t be good advice. Just because one person found comfort in the interface of a program for a certain genre, doesn’t mean the same will apply to you, or anyone else for that matter.
While some DAW programs have proven benefits in specific areas, this doesn’t mean that they are restrictive. At their most basic, these applications manipulate multitrack audio and MIDI files — something that applies to any genre of music or any style of sound.

PreSonus Studio one is one of the favorite DAW for mix and mastering engineers at this moment due to the price point and the features and also how easy it is for us.
Cubase is one of the best Music Production software DAW for professionals. Even though studio one is competing Cubase, it still stands to be the preferred choice for a most professionals.Cubase is a bit complicated compared to studio one which is a bit straightforward. For me, I love the workflow in Cubase and the interface as well. You have the option to 3 different mixers which isn’t possible in my DAW.
